Kaitie's Closet was founded in 2012 by Jack and Barbara Gooch as a way to honor their granddaughter.  They took her clothes, collected more, and offered them to the low-income children in Payson, along with new shoes, socks and underwear.  In 2017 KC served 667 children and provided 397 pairs of shoes, 290 packets of underwear, and 296 packets of socks.

In 2017 St Paul's Episcopal Church assumed the leadership of the non-profit.  Distributions are held 10 times a year.

Kaitie's Closet is a 501 c 3 non-profit and contributions are tax deductible.  Tax ID 30-0617249
